Denmark Diaries: Centre Point
Yesterday was half-time for me in Copenhagen - I’ve been here for 72 days, and in 72 days I’ll be leaving again. It’s a strange feeling: I’m aware that I won’t be putting down roots here. That Copenhagen would be a stage. But the fact that this stage is already half over felt very surreal.
I have just booked my train ticket for the journey home to Germany. For the first time, the signs are set for departure. Strangely enough, I’m looking forward to the moment when I board the train home in Copenhagen, but at the same time I want it to be a long time before then.
